Learning a Samoan Introduction with Ana, Daniel, Sione, Xavier and Achilles

In our space we celebrate all of our cultures. Earlier in the term we clebrated Samoan Language Week. We spent some time learning how to introduce ourselves in Samoan and say where we are from and how old we are. Here is Daniel's introduction.

Deeper Thinking Ponga Tree - By Mele, Arvay and Achilles

For a few weeks we have been learning about the native trees of New Zealand. Today we completed our project of deeper thinking of our own tree which is the Ponga Tree. Here is our activity.

What do you know about Te Tiriti o Waitangi by Achilles

 Today in class l have been learning about Waitangi. The first thing l did was find Waitangi On Google maps. Waitangi is in the bay of islands New Zealand one thing l learnt was Treaty of Waitangi was made in 1840 and 43 Northland chiefs signed on February 6th 1840.
