Today for inquiry my group and I (Leitupo and David) did a deeper thinking about our plant, the Harakeke plant. This drawings includes interesting facts, the threat to the Harakeke plant and how it is weaved did you know that the Harakeke name was given to the plant by the Māori people... We are Year 5 and 6 Learners Saint Pius X Catholic School in Auckland, New Zealand and our teachers are Miss Nees-Kairua, Mr Gaffney and Mrs Tui. We work in a collaborative space.

WALT: Explain what Rongoā Māori is. Today for Reading I was matching the sickness names with the healing names but the healing is made out of Native plants from New Zealand.
