The Olympics History By - Sani, Sione & Sio
Today for Literacy we were learning about the Olympic History. We were split into 2 groups of 4 and the rest in groups of three. This was a big task but it was really interesting. Half way throughthe activity we were able to stop and watch some of our New Zealand athletes compete while we were working.

Grammar Practice - Proper Nouns
In class as a refresher to the new school year, we have been remembering all our basic grammar. In particular, sentence structure and parts of speech, including nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions and conjunctions.
Last time we looked at common nouns. This time we are look ing at proper nouns. A proper noun is the name of an actual person, days, months, books, movies or places. Here are our activities from Sani and Jonah.
