Ana - Finding Nemo after reading activity
Today in class me and my class were doing reading and our after reading activity included a clip from the movie Finding Nemo. It was easy to do the activity. It was hard comparing the video. I really liked this activity because it talked about perserverance which is a word I've heard before but never really understood. I know understand it and it's importance if I want to achieve anything.
Check my Activity down below.

Pohutukawa-Take out the nectar in the flowers.
Pūriri-gargled the leaves.

If we win he has to buy us Ice cream and chocolate and if they win its the other way around!

Amihuti - Harry's War Activity to go to war or become a conscientious objector?
Today we had to write how to encourage people
to go to war or for people to be a conscientious objector.
to go to war or for people to be a conscientious objector.
WALT-How to encourage people to go to war or become an
conscientious objector. List two positives for each one then retell it on your blog.
conscientious objector. List two positives for each one then retell it on your blog.
I think I would become a soldier. I would become a soldier because
I would fight with pride and I would like to realise what war for people
in the olden days felt like. I would like explore the places and be proud of
my decision of becoming a soldier. I would also like to be a soldier because I will
like to train as a soldier, I would like to do the hard work they do in the rain for me to gain skill.
One more thing is someone that if anyone asks me about war I would have an answer.

Sign Language Week
Each May, Deaf Aotearoa runs New Zealand Sign Language Week, celebrating one of New Zealand’s official languages. NZSL Week raises awareness of New Zealand’s Deaf community and provides a platform for Deaf people to proudly promote their language and culture.
In our classroom, as part of our reading activities, we practice our spelling words in sign. It is difficult at times but lots of fun. Can you guess what words we are spelling out without listening to the sound first?
