Xavier: Medicinal plants

WALT: Explain what Rongoā Māori is. Today for Reading I was matching the sickness names with the healing names but the healing is made out of Native plants from New Zealand. My goal for next time is to match more healing names with sickness! Have you seen a Harakeke face to face before? Here is my activity and video below!

Here are same of the ways you use the plants.
Koromiko-Chew the leaves.
Kōwhai-Drink the leaves juice.
Harakeke (Flax)-Use it like how you use aid healing.
Pohutukawa-Take out the nectar in the flowers.
Pūriri-gargled the leaves.
KawaKawa-Chew the leave.

Here is a video about my favourite tree.
