As you know our inquiry topic has been "Amazing Plants!" We started with New Zealand Native plants and moved to plants of the Pacific. As a learning hub we all looked at the coconut tree together as it has importance to all of our Pacific nations. Last time we looked at Achilles' group and the coconut meat/flesh . Māori Myths and Legends: Tama-nui-te-rā

 In Te Wairua Pakiki 4, one of our reading groups is called Tama-nui-te-rā. Tama-nui-te-rā is the sun so our reading group all read the story 'How Māui slowed the sun' and retold it in their own words. Here is the slide by Alfonsus, Sani, Solomon and Vili.
