In cubism you can play around with lots of shapes. The facial features like your eyes, nose mouth and ears can be in be in different shapes and places. Our teacher said '' cubism looks as though the painting has been dropped and cracked, and it was rearranged when put back together.'' When I look at the painting the mouth, ears, eyes and head are in different places. It so cool. When we were looking at the painting TWP 4 did some too. If you look down you will see my Painting it looks so good and cool.
We are Year 5 and 6 Learners Saint Pius X Catholic School in Auckland, New Zealand and our teachers are Miss Nees-Kairua, Mr Gaffney and Mrs Tui. We work in a collaborative space.

Picasso Painting drawing #1 by Melenaite
On the 9 of March Te Wairua Pakiki 4 (TWP 4) did some art that is based on Pablo Picasso's cubism art. Picasso's is an artist and he made so many different types of art. He is well known for cubism where sometimes he has moved facial features and they are not in the same spot. If you look down you will see one of Picasso's painting.
